A grant programme funded jointly by three charitable trusts to support faith-based community projects in tackling poverty and health inequalities in London. Projects should demonstrate a link with a faith or belief group and/or a church or other place of worship; plans to consult/work with a relevant health agency; they are tackling the effects of poverty and addressing health inequalities; a new approach to a new situation or a thoughtful development in response to ongoing needs. Small grants can now be applied for by charities working for the benefit of all older people to improve their housing needs or address financial exclusion. Successful projects will either maintain an open, inclusive society or promote integration (or reintegration) of individuals or groups into society.
