Welcome to the tackling homelessness issue of faithaction Magazine. Homelessness is something that no longer applies to the stereotype vagabond. In today’s economic climate – Professionals such as Nathaniel, IT Engineer of 20 years can find themselves laid-off from work, eventually homeless and on the streets! In the midst of all the gloom the Church is starting to position itself to bring solutions and practical love to disfranchised communities; Like Jesus House’s recent launch of a Supermarket to provide free food for the impoverished families in North London and Highway of Holiness who find themselves providing shelter for homeless polish men in Haringey.
Tony Blair- Former Prime Minister says “what counts is faith in action” so be inspired by this read and become a beacon of light in your community.
